What's new
Every new game, feature and fix, newest first. A lot of these started as an idea someone sent us, and the people behind them are on the Wall of Fame.
Got an idea or found something broken? Tell us. We read every message.
NEWThumbs up and a full Community Playlist page
Every tune in the Community Playlist now has a 👍 button, and you can sort by New, Featured or Top. Each shared song page shows the playlist too, and saving a tune now gives you its own short link right away, with the option to send it in to the playlist.
NEWThis updates page and the Wall of Fame
A place to see everything that changed, and to thank the teachers, families and students whose ideas made the games better.
NEW GAMEDo-Re-Mi Solfège Studio
Make music with solfège hand signs. Tap Do, Re, Mi to play, pick a sound (bells, brass, steel drum, 8-bit, robot, even a silly cat), add a drum beat, and record. Stack as many layers as you want, sing a layer and watch it turn into notes, then share your tune with its own link or remix someone else's. Includes play-along songs like This Land Is Your Land and When the Saints Go Marching In.
NEWCommunity Playlist
Send your Solfège Studio tune in, and once it's reviewed it shows up for everyone to play and remix.
NEW GAMESolfège Match
A memory match game for choir: pair each syllable with its hand sign and its note on the staff. Our solfège guides got hand-sign charts too.
NEWMatch Games and Choir filters
The homepage can now show just the match games (Clef, Rhythm, Solfège) or just the games that work for singers.
NEWBrass Blaster: pick your notes
Before you start, choose which notes come at you: everything, any of the 12 major scales, or just the notes you've learned so far. Perfect for first-year players who only know the B♭ scale. Teachers can lock a scale into their class links.
💡 Idea from the C FamilyAPPWatch Tuner
A simple instrument tuner that runs right on your Apple Watch, now on the App Store.
NEW GAMEScale Ladder
Climb a major scale one rung at a time on your real instrument. Learn it, play it up and down, play it from memory, then race the clock. Turn on hints to see the trombone slide positions or trumpet and horn fingerings for each note.
NEWExpert Mode in Brass Blaster
Ships can show their notes on a treble or bass clef staff instead of letter names, so you practice reading music while you play.
💡 Idea from a band parentNEWClass Pages for teachers
Teachers can set up a page for their class with the games, instruments and settings they want, and share one link with students.
APPBandroom Games on Google Play
The Android app is out, joining the iPhone and iPad app. Same games, free, no account.
NEW LOOKBrass Blaster goes to space
You now fly a little brass spaceship past the planets while colorful alien ships drift in. Every note has its own ship and color, the right note blasts it into music notes and stars, and each wave takes you to a new planet from Mercury to Neptune. (Prefer the old look? It's still here.)
💡 Idea from Daniel Vedres & His Students in DresdenAPPBandroom Games on the App Store
The whole arcade as a free iPhone and iPad app.

Help make it better
Teachers, parents and students have shaped a lot of what's here. Send us an idea and we'll thank you on the Wall of Fame if we build it.
